GUIDED TOUR: JASNA HRIBERNIK - ALBEDO. Thursday, 29 November at 5 pm Metka Zupanič, curator for video programme at Photon, in conversation with Jasna Hribernik. Discussion will focus on video installation Albedo.

Eyes-on festival - Month of Photography in Vienna will open on 30 October. Within the festival's programme Photon will present the group exhibition of Grupa Junij.The exhibition will open on 6 November in Slovenian cultural Centre Korotan.

In the autumn 2012 Photon participates at two regionally relevant art fairs - at the Viennafair and at the Art Market Budapest.

Photon participates at the 22nd festival Month of Photography in Bratislava, this year with an exhibition of Antonio Zivkovic and as a member of the European Month of Photography in the group exhibition Disturbances.

Peter Koštrun is taking part in significant group exhibition of European contemporary Photography organised by Centre for Fine Arts BOZAR in Bruxelles. Curator of the exhibition is Liz Wells.

BJP has opened its 2012 International Photography Award for submissions. Photographers can enter images on any subject, from anywhere in the world, into two categories – a series of images, or a single shot.

The Brazilian independent curator and photo editor Fernanda Prado, who is currently based in Slovenia, will make a presentation about Brazilian Contemporary Photography.

Monday, 4 June 2012 at 8 pm | In the eleventh Video Evening KOLEKTIVA presents audiovisual performance by New York based artsits Alex Nathanson & Dylan Neely. The project is composed of a live/interactive video projection and electric violin.

In 2012 Photonic Moments festival is coming back. Within five thematic sections programme is composed of around 30 exhibitions and accompanying events. Opening of the festival will take place on 29 May in Jakopič Gallery.

Tuesday, 24 April 2012 at 7 pm | In the tenth Video Evening KOLEKTIVA is presenting a new selection of namaTRE.ba project, an independent platform for contemporary art from Trebinje, Bosnia & Herzegovina.

During a meeting in Berlin in October 2011 theEMoP board has adopted a new statute. Moscow and Rom are no longer members of EMoP, they've been replaced by the festivals in Ljubljana and Budapest.

As a result of collaboration between Photon and FSK (Forum of Slavic Culture) photo exhibition that has already been presented in Brussels, is now on show in Ljubljana; from 19 January in headquarters of International Foundation Forum of Slavic Cultu

Koroška galerija likovnih umetnosti hosts international video exhibition Video in Progress 3: Fields of the Performative. The third edition of the project, which in 2011 became a festival, was first presented in 2009 in Kino Šiška Centre.
